Dashboard
The dashboard of your car provides insights as to how your vehicle is currently functioning. Understanding the different dashboard lights and your to diagnose them is an important step in keeping any vehicle in top shape, or even restoring broken down vehicles. There are approximately 60 dashboard warning lights and signals that are found in most automobiles. Some you encounter daily, while others you may never see. It all relies on how well you maintain your vehicle. Don’t worry if you don’t recognize the majority of the warning lights. The fact is that the majority of drivers are unable to recognize them. Because automobiles have gotten so sophisticated, according to a research conducted in the United Kingdom, 98 percent of drivers are unaware of all the controls on their dashboard. When shown photographs of the 16 most frequent dashboard signals, 71% of drivers can not identify an inflation pressure warning light, with one in every 25 supposing it has to do with the oil or the brakes. All automobiles include a range of dashboard warning lights that relate to various systems, such as the engine control light or the oil pressure warning light. When you turn on the ignition in many automobiles, these lights will flash for a few seconds before disappearing. There might be a problem with your automobile when one or more of those warning lights remains on while the engine is running. The severity of the problem is indicated by the color of the dashboard warning lights, which range from red to amber to green to blue. Although blue and green hazard lights are far less critical, you should still take the same steps to protect your vehicle like you would for more serious alerts.
